My Journey from Medicine to Music

Life, in its mystical rhythm, composes transitions that reason cannot fathom, yet the heart recognizes as destiny. My voyage from medicine to music has been such an odyssey — a movement from healing the body to healing the soul.
Once, my days unfolded amid the pulse of heartbeats and the quiet grace of service. Yet beneath that measured calm, another melody awakened — soft, sacred, irresistible.
That whisper was Sangeet — pure music, shimmering with spirit. What began as solace soon became surrender. In its discipline, I found the echo of medicine’s rigor; in devotion to the guru, the reverence I once held for my mentors. To perfect a raga felt no different from tracing the mysteries of a human heart.
Today, my stethoscope has yielded to the tanpura, yet my calling remains unchanged — to listen, deeply and humbly, to the eternal rhythm of life itself.
